Note: The ranks of our Stakeholders have dwindled to a handful, and as the donations have all but petered out we have had to seek a steady source of income.  Maria has joined Bob as a full-time employee of another company, something which has drastically reduced the amount of time she is able to devote to covering our community news.  As always, we welcome press releases and third-party reports as long as the affiliation of those submitting the press release is clearly stated and we consider the press release newsworthy.  We also paid advertisements.

We thank everyone who supported us in the past and we especially thank those who continue to contribute financially to this local news website.  Through your generosity we have been able to make the following purchases over the past year which have helped enhance the operation of this website:

• A video camera with which has enabled Bob to post video of the recent 4th of July parade and the Race Around the Lake;
• A Nikon Coolpix P100 camera which has extended Maria’s photography range ~ yes, she can now take photos of low-light settings;
• An external hard-drive to free up the memory on Maria’s laptop and to provide one storage unit for the content and photographs that make up this website.

All future contributions will be earmarked towards the purchase of a GPS so that Bob may provide accurate maps of sections of New Hartford, such as the walking trails in town.
