“Those are the bingo ladies at the very front of the picture!” “That was my son in the photo.” “I usually have a goofy look on my face, but not in this picture!”
Some of the comments our photographer Maria Moore has received from residents who attended the concerts at Brodie Park and saw their photos on NewHartfordPlus. “Get photos out of the last concert and the Music Festival.” Maria wrote in her NHPlus schedule for this coming weekend ~ fun time for her!

A butterfly bush, one of several in the garden on Church Street North, is a magnet for butterflies. The property recently sold but Norma Pappalardo can still be seen tending the plants in the garden. "I'm a guest gardener." Norma recently told our photographer as she paused for a minute in her work cutting back the gladioli, and our photographer paused, as she has done in years past, to check the butterflies on the bush.
