Let’s have some fun! We’re looking for the ‘Best Decorated House for the Holidays‘ in New Hartford and we need your help to find it! Here’s how:
Do you know of a house in town that you think looks particularly attractive the way it’s been decorated for the holidays? Let us know about it, send us a photo of it, and we’ll enter it into our contest for the ‘Best Decorated House For The Holidays’. In a week, we’ll pick the winner and the homeowner will receive a $25 gift certificate to the Peddlers’ Junction. If you sent in the winning entry, and you did not submit your own house, you’ll receive a NewHartfordPlus sweatshirt, also at the Peddlers’ Junction. So, get your cameras out, and send us your entry.
The Fine Print:
- You may submit your entry by email to newhartfordplus@gmail.com, or by regular mail to NewHartfordPlus, PO Box 667, New Hartford, CT 06057.
- Please include in your entry:
- The address of the house you are nominating. Only houses in New Hartford, please. If you know the homeowner’s name, please include that too.
- A photo of the decorated house you are nominating, either by day or by night (the way you prefer to look at it).
- You do not have to be a New Hartford resident. You just need to have driven by and enjoyed the decorations of a house in New Hartford.
- Entry deadline is midnight, December 31, 2009. We’ll announce the winner of the contest next year, at midday January 1, 2010!
- If you can’t send us a photo of the house you’d like to nominate, please let us know and our reporter will make her best effort to take the photo for you. Email us to coordinate this, please.
