We’ve added our video coverage of the January 22 public hearing on the MDC proposal to supply water to UConn to our YouTube channel. The hearing was held in the Munson Building at the UConn Health Center campus and those assembled had come to address the MDC proposal to construct a pipeline to supply water from the Barkhamsted and Nepaug reservoirs to the UConn and Mansfield area. The video documents the many concerns expressed at this meeting about the potential impact of the proposal. As time permits, we will be adding a list of the speakers, along with the time that they appear in the video. We covered this meeting in the January 26 edition of the NH+ INDEPENDENT, which is available in pdf format at the link in the sidebar to the right.
