On a visit to Town Hall on an unrelated matter our reporter came across an agenda dated October 17 (time agenda filed unclear from our copy) for a WPCA Special Meeting which will immediately follow the Public Hearing on orders to connect taking place this evening at 7 p.m. (see previous post).
A copy of the agenda for the Special Meeting which our reporter obtained from the First Selectman’s Office is below:

Recap of WPCA-related meetings today:
3 p.m.: Clean Wastewater Study Group Meeting: Options of what to do with the town’s New Hartford Water Company overseen by the WPCA will be revisited. At past meetings the options were: a) Bring the whole operation in-house including billing and hiring personnel to run the wastewater treatment plant; b) Leave the operation as is, i.e. with the WPCA overseeing the operations and hiring subcontractors to man the wastewater treatment plant and handle the billing; and c) sell the New Hartford Water Company. After reviewing the options, there may be a vote on which option to adopt.
7 p.m.: Public Hearing on orders to connect. See our October 17 article with a copy of the order to connect.
8 p.m.ish: WPCA Special Meeting: Discussion of input from the Public Hearing and possible action on orders to connect. See above agenda.
