If you live in New Hartford and Barkhamsted you should have received the first issue of our weekly newspaper, the NH+ INDEPENDENT, in your post office box or delivered to your home. We checked our post office box at about 11 a.m. this morning in New Hartford and found our issue there. Even more gratifying, we checked the pile of publications that are left behind by residents who sort through their mail and leave behind “junk” mail and we didn’t find one copy of the INDEPENDENT that had been left behind!
We hope you enjoyed reading through the first issue. We’d love to get your input on it and suggestions for us to improve on it. Also, if you’d like to submit a news item or an event for the Community Calendar that you’d like to have included in next week’s issue of the INDEPENDENT, please email it to our editor, Maria Moore at maria@newhartfordplus.com or drop it off at our office on the corner of Main and Bridge Streets in downtown New Hartford. Submissions must be received by Wednesday noon to be included in the Saturday issue. Thanks and we hope you’re having as much fun as we are!
