New Hartford Day is fast approaching and so is the deadline for reserving booth space. Businesses and non-profit organizations have until September 1 to send in their application. Booth space is free for non-profit organizations and for businesses there is a charge of $15 or $25 depending on the size of the space.
Following is information about New Hartford Day contained in a letter from the Co-Chairs of the New Hartford Day Committee:
Dear Fellow Citizen,
Many thanks to all of you who participated in last year’s New Hartford Day, and welcome to those of you who have requested an application for the first time. New Hartford Day is a great opportunity to find out what is going on in New Hartford, meet with neighbors and friends, and enjoy a good old fashioned country fair. Last year more than 60 businesses and civic organizations participated. Planning has now begun for the 2012 New Hartford Day. There will be great music, food, antique cars and tractors, area vendors, as well as the annual Eureka Grange Fair. The theme for this year’s New Hartford Day is Celebrate Brodie Park in recognition of the acquisition of the park by the town 25 years ago. We are planning on having displays and photos of the many changes that have happened to the park.
We invite you and your organization to get involved in the day’s activities by having a booth. A booth provides the opportunity to inform, market, and/or raise funds for your organization. Space is free for non-profit groups, and either $15 or $25 (depending on the size of the space) for businesses. Enclosed is an application form. Please return it to the committee as soon as possible, but not later than September 1, 2012. A confirmation letter with more detailed instructions as to set up will be sent the first week of September.

The 39th Annual New Hartford Day and Eureka Grange Fair will be held Sunday, September 16 at Brodie Park on West Hill Pond (Lake) from 10 a.m. to 4p.m. The event is free, as is parking.
