UPDATE: ADOPTED! Seaven, Golden Retriever Mix, Charms All At Farmers’ Market

UPDATE

: Seaven was adopted on Sunday, August 19. His name was changed to Ivan and his new family reported back to the Animal Control Officer: “Thanks to all of you for praying that he would find a good family! He’s happy, comfortable and sleeping soundly – in a very cozy spot!” Much happiness to Ivan and his new family.

UPDATE: As of Saturday evening, August 18, Seaven is still available for adoption. Please pass the word along…

Seaven, a beautiful Golden Retriever mix, was so excited to be at the Farmers’ Market with Les Archer, Animal Control Officer for New Hartford and Barkhamsted. He loved to be petted and, as you can see in the photo, he loved treats. But more than anything, Seaven was so happy to be with people and other dogs. It’s heartbreaking to think that he has spent 23 days in the kennel when he so obviously enjoys being around people.

Seaven was found on South Road in New Hartford by Dan LaPlante, Assistant Animal Control Officer, and attempts to find his family have had no results. Seaven is now being made available for adoption. If you, or someone you know, can offer this beautiful dog a good (forever) home, you will be rewarded with a loving, intelligent, faithful dog, guaranteed.

To meet Seaven and to learn about adopting him, please contact Les Archer at 860-309-7228.
