Drive Away In A ’12 Mustang For Just $100: Here’s How

By: Maria Moore

It seems everywhere you go around town these days you see the Mustang: Beautiful, black and shiny and just inviting you to dream of stepping inside, hitting the accelarator and tooling down to the shore and back in record time. This is our reporter’s dream but whatever your dream of what you’d do if you owned this beauty, it could be fulfilled for $100!

Just $100 is the cost of a raffle ticket to win this ’12 Mustang and with only 550 tickets available your odds of winning are very, very good! Step aside, state lottery, this raffle’s got you beat!

This 2012 Ford Mustang is a V6 Pony Package, with a 6-speed manual transmission. The list price for this car is $28,495. The car is a 2-door Coupe, with leather seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.   To read the full specs visit: the New Cars section of the Lombard Ford website.

Check out the car in person on Friday afternoons at the New Hartford Farmers’ Market.  The car can also be seen at either of the town libraries and at various other locations around town – keep looking for it.   The car is being provided by Lombard Ford on Route 44 in Barkhamsted.

Tickets are available for purchase – while they last – at the Bakerville Library, at the Beekley Library, at Lombard Ford, at the New Hartford Farmers’ Market and from Friends of each of the libraries. Raffle tickets are $100; the cost of your ticket is tax-deductible since the lottery is a benefit for both the town’s libraries.

The raffle drawing will be held on Sunday, September 30, at 5 p.m. at the Beekley Library. Our reporter plans to get a ride down to the raffle since she’s sure she’ll be the one to drive away in this dream car…
