On a recent summer day young children fanned out from the library into the gardens to find just the perfect spot to build their fairy houses. And once they had completed their task, they came together to sit and read and play in the shade in Licia’s rose garden.
A magical place to be on a hot summer’s day, for the young and the young at heart.
The ‘Fairy Houses’ program was held at The Beekley Library on Thursday, June 28. Tomorrow, Thursday, July 26 at 11 a.m., there will be a puppet show ‘Rapunzel’ at the library. Call the library at 860-379-5806 to sign up.
