REMINDER: Dog License Renewals Due By June 30; Petey Is Just Waiting To Go Home To His New Family

Following is a reminder about renewing your dog’s license from the Town Clerk’s Office:

New Hartford Dog license renewals are due June 30th, and can be renewed online at http://dogs.basny.com/Dogs/Search?munirecid=27, the town’s Online Dog Licensing System website.

You may pay for your dog license(s) online by using your MasterCard, Visa or Discover Credit Cards. You may also pay via Debit Card or Electronic Check. There is a $1.75 convenience fee added to allow for this online service.

You may also renew your license in person at the Town Clerk’s Office during regular business hours (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.; Wednesday: 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.; Friday: 8:00 a.m.-12:00 noon) you may mail your renewal to the Town Clerk making sure that it is postmarked by June 30th to avoid the $1 per dog late fee.

If you are licensing your dog for the first time in New Hartford, you will need to go to the Town Clerk’s office to present a valid rabies certificate as well as a spay or neuter certificate if applicable.

The license fees are $19.00 for a male or female and $8.00 if the dog is neutered or spayed.
