Steven Andrew Joseph, age 43, of Winsted, passed away suddenly, May 18, 2012 at Hartford Hospital. He was the husband of Jennifer Joseph and father of Grace and Jacob Joseph.

Steven was born in Winsted on December 17, 1968 son of Philip Joseph and the late Kathleen Galpin. He worked for the Town of New Hartford and also owned and operated Joseph’s Tree Service. Steven loved to farm and to take care of his animals.
In addition to his wife and children, Steven is also survived by his father, Philip Joseph and his wife Taurra, a brother, John Joseph, sister Lisa Duntz, step father, Rob Galpin, sister-in-law, Melanie Joseph, mother-in-law and father-in-law Holly and Richard Benton, sister-in-law Heather Stewart and her husband Jonathan, and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Friday, May 25, at St. Joseph Church, 31 Oak Street, Winsted. Burial is private. Calling hours are Thursday from 4 to 7pm at the Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Rd. Litchfield.
