New Hartford Garden Club To Host Meet And Greet At Jerram Winery
Following is a press release from the New Hartford Garden Club regarding a Meet And Greet club members will be holding on March 9 at Jerram Winery:
To commemorate its Golden Anniversary in 2012, the New Hartford Garden Club is sponsoring a series of programs and events for the New Hartford community.
The March event will be a Meet and Greet at Jerram Winery, 535 Town Hill Road (Rte. 219), New Hartford on Friday, March 9, 2012 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. (Snow date will be Saturday, March 10th.) Garden Club members and their guests will be treated to complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a free wine tasting. A tasting fee of $6 will be charged for all other attendees.

Showcase Of Area Preschools/Daycares To Be Held At The Beekley Library
The following press release is regarding a showcase of preschools and daycares in our area being hosted on March 10th by the Children’s Librarian at the Beekley Community Library:
The Licia & Mason Beekley Community Library in New Hartford, CT, will be hosting its annual Preschool/Daycare Showcase in the children’s room on Saturday, March 10th, from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Preschools and daycares from New Hartford, Canton, Burlington, Torrington, and Winsted will be on hand to talk about their programs, distribute information, and answer questions regarding philosophies, curriculum, tuition, and enrollment.
This program is free of charge and open to the public.
