With the vacancies on the Town’s boards having been filled during the November municipal election, it fell on the Town’s selectmen to fill the vacancies on the Town’s commissions and that is what they did at yesterday’s (December 20) meeting. First Selectman Dan Jerram read the names of those up for reappointment on each of the commissions and Alesia Kennerson and Jack Casey – who was participating in the meeting via telephone – approved the reappointments. There was no discussion regarding the reappointments.
Below is the list of those reappointed for each of the commissions, with a note stating the number of vacancies, if any, on the commission in question.
An additional appointment was made that was not noted on the list below, that of Beth Paul as the Town’s Assessor.

Building Oversight Committee members Denton Butler (at the easel) and Roy Litchfiield (seated closest to the camera) were at the meeting to give an update on the Main Street sewer and Downtown Revitalization projects, both of which they are managing on behalf of the Town.
Many Thanks: To all the Volunteers who stepped up to be reappointed for a new term. You make our town structure work!
NOTE: The video of the December 20 Board of Selectmen meeting will be posted as soon as Bob “the techie” has finished processing it. Thank you for your understanding!
