The Best – and Only – Parade on the 4th of July is the one held in our neighboring town of Barkhamsted. The NewHartfordPlus crew took a ride over to Barkhamsted this morning to cheer and clap at the quintessential New England Independence Day Parade – a must on the 4th!

The Star Band plays enthusiastically in the parade and at the ceremony after. The Band is made up of anyone who plays an instrument and shows up on the morning of the parade
