Singer/Songwriter Wendy Waldman will be playing at the Beekley Library tomorrow Saturday, April 10.

Wendy has written songs that have been recorded by famous artists such as Maria Muldaur, Linda Ronstadt, Allison Krauss, Garth Brooks, Aaron Neville, Judy Collins, Bette Midler, and many more. Her song “Save the Best for Last,” by Vanessa Williams, won a Grammy nomination and ASCAP named it as its Song of the Year, meaning it was performed more than any other song in 1992.
Wendy has returned to her own recording career, releasing first a CD of previously unheard songs, ‘Seeds And Orphans’ (Longhouse Records, 2003), as well as her first new solo studio album of all new material in 20 years, ’My Time In The Desert’ (Longhouse Records, 2007). This CD contains some of her best songs to date ,including her own versions of “Fishing In The Dark” and “Save The Best For Last.”
About the concert: Tickets for the concert are $25.
